Twitter’s latest test lets users subscribe to a tweet’s replies
By Sarah Perez from Tech Crunch
  • “The company’s latest test, announced via a tweet ahead of the weekend, will allow users to subscribe to replies to a particularly interesting tweet they want to follow, too, in order to see how the conversation progresses.”
  • “When you click the bell icon, you’ll be presented with three options: one to subscribe to the ‘top’ replies, another to subscribe to all replies and a third to turn off reply notifications.”
  • “The larger goal of those tests and this new one is to personalize the experience of participating in Twitter conversations by showcasing what the people you follow are saying, while also making a conversation easier to follow by seeing when the original poster and those they mentioned have chimed in.”
The Role of Data and Storytelling in Marketing Transformation
By Michael Brenner from Marketing Insider Group
  • “Data is key to developing consumable content and telling a story that matters to your audience, especially for B2B brands. By adding a layer of data to your storytelling, your marketing can abandon throwing concepts out there and seeing what sticks, and be more strategic with every piece of content you create.”
  • “You can collect data from your audience in many different ways, such as studying their interactions with your brand or directly soliciting feedback through surveys. It’s up to marketers to take this data and combine it with human empathy to create stories that matter.”
  • “Data can also be interactive and part of the immersive scenario. You are fostering a culture of learning through these tactics, and data plays a huge role in that for your customers. The most important things to keep in mind are to be inventive, innovative and unique.”
